Irene Sunshine

I’m Sunshine from Tropical Singapore. Travel, Culinary & Art are the 3  greatest passions of my life. As I leave my footprints in different places, I bring pictures and stories of fascinating places, different kinds of cuisine and stories behind them from all over the world and creative ideas closer to you.

 

I embarked on my cooking adventure by learning from my mom when I was 9 years old. My mom is the best cook. She can cook any Chinese, Malay or Indian food and is definitely my superstar chef master. I have learned so much from her! I enjoy every cooking moment with her. Till today, I find cooking with my mom the most treasurable and fulfilling thing to do. In fact, one of the most memorable experience is making "Mooncake" with my mom and daughter. A time where three generations bake together and making that round cake (symbolised togetherness & unity) for Autumn. It was a fun and certainly unforgettable memory. 

 

As a culinary enthusiast, I enjoy playing with food. Sometimes, I will dish up something with anything I can find in the kitchen. I love exploring with different ingredients, methods of cooking and culture preparation.
